Embarking on the modern coaches, we will drive to the north of the island to visit the women only monastery of Saint Athanasios, where we will have the chance to see the monastery, learn its history and visit the gardens and the icon restoration and painting workshop. Last but certainly not least, after a magnificent ride over the picturesque hills of Corfu, we will arrive at the monastery of Virgin Mary, built on top of the hill, overseeing the peninsula of Paleokastritsa for a full guided tour in the monastery.
